ISRO chief has announced, India will launch its space station


New Delhi. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), which is making new records in space everyday, has made a big announcement. President of ISRO, Dr. K. Sivan, said that India is now preparing to make its own space station. This will be the beginning of a new era for the country in the field of space science.




20 ton weighing will be India's space station


ISRO chief said that we are planning to set up our own space station. This will not be a huge space station but a smaller space station of 20 tonnes. Shivan further said that our aim is not to keep the scientists permanently there. We will send our modules to execute the experiment. After the Gaganayan Mission, we will send our proposal to the government.

When will India's own space station be established


Dr. K Shivan, president of the organization said that India may have its own space station in the next decade. Asked about the cost of the space station, the ISRO chief said that he has not been assessed now. Simultaneously, Shivan also informed that in the next two-three years, ISRO will also send a rover  to Venus.

Gaganayan will be working at the space station


Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Space, said that the concept of the space station is in the very beginning period. After the Gaganan mission in December 2020, it will be focused and therefore it is not possible to give more information about it now.

There are just two space stations in space. The first joint project is the International Space Station (ISS) established by USA and Russia. Since 1998, this has led many world countries to join Apart from this, in 2011, China also launched its space station Tiangong-1 which was destroyed last year. In the meantime, in 2016 a Chinese space station was established by China. China is now preparing to launch another station in 2022.
